Venice, Florida Occupational Therapy Services

FTMR is proud to not only treat but help educate our community in Venice, Florida

Venice is a great place to live because of low traffic, low crime rate, relaxed atmosphere, great parks such as Shamrock, Oscar Scherer, and South Venice Lemon Bay Preserve, and of course the beach. We are strong advocates of daily exercise and love seeing our fellow Venetians taking full advantage of our small town. One of the best ways is to exercise and one great exercise is biking. Venice is a great place for it. It’s one of the best ways to soak in Venice’s surreal beauty. The League of American Bicyclists recognizes Venice as a Silver Bicycle Friendly community. You can take a casual ride to the beach, a long distance road ride, or a ride out in the wilderness. Venice has 158 miles of bike trails. And for a night out, it’s a great way to go to the theater, performing Arts Center, and restaurants. Biking is also a great way to do your shopping. It sure beats driving in traffic and parking. As occupational therapists, we recommend biking as one way to accelerate your recovery, depending on your condition.

At Functional Transition Mobile Rehab, we care deeply about each one of our Venice community residents. We always go the extra mile to see your full recovery. We want you back to living fully, so you savor Venice, take back your life, and enjoy the company of family and friends.

Our team comes to you! It’s what sets FTMR apart. We provide all the benefits of a traditional outpatient therapy clinic without the inconvenience of traveling to the clinic. Together, in the comfort of your home’s surroundings, we explore all possible treatment options, so you regain your self-reliance, confidence, and mobility.

You know the drawbacks of finding a ride when you need to travel for your therapy session, especially if you already struggle with limited mobility. It’s a good idea to limit unnecessary travel or exposure to the outside world because it lowers your risk of catching infections. That’s extremely important, especially if you are still healing from major surgery and your immune system is weakened.

Here’s the added benefit of FTMR home therapy: We make it a cinch for you to stick to your routine and exercises. We make sure you do your therapy routine correctly, so you can reach and maintain your goal and see an improvement that much faster.

Why Choose Us?

Our licensed and certified FTMR therapists are flexible and never over-schedule. You benefit from in-home one-on-one time with our licensed therapists.
