Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation

Physical therapy and rehabilitation help people recover from injuries and improve their mobility.

Physical therapy (PT) is the treatment of physical problems and injuries using exercises, massages, and other therapies. Rehabilitation (rehab) is the process of helping someone regain their strength and mobility after an injury or illness.

PT can help people recover from a wide range of injuries, including sports injuries, car accidents, falls, and surgeries. PT can also help people with chronic pain conditions such as arthritis and fibromyalgia. Rehab can help people regain their strength and mobility after an injury or surgery. It can also help people with chronic conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis.

If you are recovering from an injury or surgery, your doctor may recommend that you see a physical therapist or rehabilitation specialist. Functional Transformation therapists are here to help you and get you back to feeling and functioning better. Our experienced physical therapist works with you one on one to make sure you have a remarkable experience on your path to wellness.

PWR! (Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery) is a special set of exercises that have been designed to help people living with Parkinson’s slow, stop, and even reverse progression of the disease. There are 4 basic moves that can be done sitting or standing and can be progressively more challenging so that you continue to see improvement. Doing these exercises is beneficial for staying active in daily life.

When your mobility decreases because of Parkinson’s it can cause your world to become “small”. Taking longer to accomplish a task, like climbing stairs or getting into a car, can cause unease in social situations. PWR! helps you to regain functionality and with it, confidence. Functional Transformation Mobile Rehab offers PWR! in the comfort of your home.

Why Choose Us?

Functional Transformation Mobile Rehab has all of the benefits of a traditional Outpatient Therapy Clinic, but without the hassle of travelling on your part. Our team comes to you!

It can be difficult to find a form of transportation when you need to travel for your therapy, especially if you have limited mobility already. Plus, less unnecessary movement or exposure to the outside world means less risk of infections, which is great if you are still healing from a major surgery. The convenience Functional Transformation Mobile Rehab provides for you also makes it much easier to stick to a routine and get better faster, as we’ll be there to make sure your progress is on track.

Many traditional Outpatient Therapy Clinics will have restrictions on what care they can provide, and how many outpatients they can handle. Because Functional Transformation Mobile Rehab is so flexible, you’ll face none of these issues when you work with us. We can give you personalized care and customizable home health routines, and will never over-schedule our patients. You can enjoy one-on-one time with our licensed therapists without having to leave your home.

At Functional Transformation Mobile Rehab, we believe that every patient is special. We treat all of our clients like family, and care about their long-term success. We will be there for you every step of the way in your recovery, and will model your therapy program around your capabilities and needs.

Jim Ferrera is Ian outstanding Lymphadema specialist. He is certified to do lymphedema massage and is excellent at what he does. I had Jim come to my home and after two weeks of his work on my body my lymphedema in my lower extremities was substantially reduced. Jim is punctual and extremely knowledgeable about his work. I would highly recommend Jim to anyone who’s going in for surgery and anyone who is suffering from lymphedema.
